Health Care Weekly Review is Michigan’s independent health care news source. We report on health care issues that give health care professionals and consumers current information about the health care landscape in Michigan. We provide timely stories on our website daily. Our email subscribers receive weekly digital versions of the publication directly in their inbox. Our monthly print issues, with a circulation of 10,000, are printed in Birmingham Michigan and then distributed to over 200 locations within 27 Michigan counties that include major hospitals, medical centers, colleges and universities.

Mark Spiess - Publisher
Mark has been with Health Care Weekly Review since 2007. Previous to becoming Publisher, Mark was the Director of Sales.
Mark is President of Biz Solutions One. Together with their strategic partners, Biz Solutions One provides solutions for businesses in the areas of Human Resources, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Finance and Information Technology. Prior to coming to Health Care Weekly Review, he owned a business in the automotive industry and worked in the government sector. He is also active in multiple chamber, networking and alumni groups.
Mark is a graduate of Walsh College with a Bachelors degree in Marketing. He also obtained his Executive MBA from Northwood University, DeVos Graduate School of Management. You can contact Mark at mspiess@hcwreview.com
David Martin – Editor in Chief
David is CEO of the Martin Group Incorporated. He is past president of The Advertising Club of Detroit, the largest marketing and advertising club in the world. David is a member of the board of directors and former president of the Michigan Advertising Industry Association, a group designed to represent the business interests of Michigan marketer, advertising agencies and media sales organizations in state of Michigan. David is also a member of the Oakland University School of Nursing Visitors Board.
Sarah Winner – Director of Sales
Sarah Winner joined Health Care Weekly Review in 2011 as the Director of Sales. Sarah has over eight years of experience in the sales field with four years specializing in media sales. Her background includes a focus on trade publications, niche markets, and large industry clientele. She excels at building long term, honest relationship with clients and enjoys helping them succeed in their business.
Sarah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of California Santa Barbara and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Dietetics.

Suha Costy – Graphic Designer
Suha is the graphic designer at Art & Design in Northville, Michigan. Suha has over 18 years of extensive experience in graphic design and desktop publishing. Suha also has experience in small business branding and marketing with a concentration in ad specialties and promotional products. She has developed brand identities, promotional product artwork and advertisements for clients in politics, retail, high tech, professional services, hospitality and health care industries. She has the ability to produce a wide variety of graphic products including displays, newsletters, campaign literature, business cards, letterheads, postcards, corporate identity, forms, menus, promotional material, invitations, fliers, hard cover books as well as a variety of training materials. Suha obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Wayne State University.
Amy Tenerelli – Graphic Designer
Amy Tenerelli joined the Health Care Weekly Review team in 2011, as a Graphic Designer.
Amy is a Graphic Designer with over 8 years experience and has previously worked for small businesses designing product catalogs, newsletters, and brochures. Her specialties include logo and product/package design, as well as, conceptual designing in which out-of-box creativity is utilized to achieve a client’s visual goals. She has also owned her own design business and has experience in how to visually market products, as well as, manage financial and purchasing aspects of a small business.
Amy obtained her AS in Graphic Design from Oakland Community College.
Peter Starr – Editor at Large
Peter Starr is an international winning documentary filmmaker who spent 35 years in the television and film industries. Following a diagnosis of cancer, Starr studied natural medicine as it relates to curing cancer without drugs, surgery or radiation. This study led to the production of an extensive documentary on the subject and much time spend coaching men with prostate cancer. Starr is an author and published writer in many national special interest magazines. When not studying natural medicine and making films Starr is an avid motorcycle enthusiast.
Megan Bengry – Marketing Coordinator
Megan Bengry joined the Health Care Weekly Review team in 2011, as a Marketing Coordinator.
Megan has previously worked in the education and automotive sectors. Her background includes marketing and event planning in the sports marketing and nonprofit sectors. Her expertise extends into client relations, networking, promotion, strategic planning, brand management and integrated communication messaging.

Heather Beach - Social Media Coordinator 
Heather joined Health Care Weekly Review in 2011. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Oakland University. Her background includes focusing on new and social media marketing techniques using such methods as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
She has held a number of leadership positions while at Oakland University such as President of Student to Professional program, President of the Marketing Taskforce and Vice President for the Association for Women in Communications and is a philanthropist in her community.
